2011 Australian 8 Hour Endurance Championship Announced....

Well after some issue last year, with a new race promoter, 2011 see's the Australian Endurance Championship go from a 6 hour event to an 8 hour event. Team WTF Racing will again enter a team in the event, hopefully to actually bring home a podium this time, rather than be in a podium position and then be taken out by another rider crashing.

As always when attempting these events, we are interested in attracting additional sponsors to cover the costs associated with the event, so if anyone knows a company that may be interested, we would really appreciate any help at all.

As more information is released, I'll keep everyone updated,

At the moment I don't know of any other teams from WA committed to heading over. Currently we have three riders, with another two possible riders already heading across with us. In addition we've got another three riders who are also on the reserve list as well......

Rather than trying to jump in on someone else's team, why don't you organise it yourself? There seems to be a lot of people who want to go... talk to them and see if you can get a team together.

There was five teams from WA last year. Team WTF Racing. Weld West Suzuki with Ben Henry, Jaime Boland & Chris Galbrieth. V-moto Suzuki with Stu Campbell, El Haren & Ray Ansett. U3 Construction (I think), with Alex Scaglioni, Jack Coyle and Alan Ford.

This event runs at Phillip Island, in the first weekend of December (2-4th).
