Backin it in....

Hows it done?

I know there is a huge amount of speed going into the corner...but hows it done? Are the rear and front brakes used simultaneousley(sp?) ?

Anyone know of a youtube explaining things?

Ive got the rear swinging coming out of the basin....but backing it in doesnt compute.

Halp.

I *think* its just braking so hard that the back slides due to being either off the ground or very close to it...

I can see by your postcount that you're a complete n00b. In future, you might consider using the search function provided on this forum.

In the meantime, this link (found using the search engine) may be of assistance.

Yes, while pushing on the inside peg, at least this is how one Aus superbike racer explained it.

Step 1: Buy Supermoto

If my bike doesn't sell for the asking price in the next 2 weeks, I'm packing it up and bringing it with me. You are more than welcome to slide around and crash it a couple times. Every one of my friends has at least once.

I'll bring it to the track. Do you think a supermoto'd KTM 450EXC pitbike will go over?

Taint posted this one up a while back, not sure if you have read it? I still remember the last true "national" round at barbagello, we were in the basin and seeing those guys come down the hill with the arse of the bike stepping out looked awesome. Giles and Stauffer made it look easy!
