Champions has a NO CAMERAS rule. Last trackday a lot of time was wasted removing said cameras.
No cameras = more track time
Get there early to get your bike & helmet scrutineered = more track time

Lap timers should be fine? Never heard them not allowing them.

The T&Cs say no lap timers. They didn't tape mirrors or lights last time I did a Champions day.

Why is a lap timer needed ?
If there's someone in front - go quicker
If ya out the front on ya own - move up a group
If ya already in the top group, out front and lonely - go do it for a living
Its about GPS data shows your lines - consistency, corner speed etc etc - not just a timer.
