In for this
if there are any mechanics or anyone that knows a bit about bikes, please give me a hand. will need someone to help me unload, and later to reload the bike on trailer, and to have a look at the throttle, seems to be a bit sticky. will reward with whatever.
also will be carrying additional 20 liters of fuel, i won't be needing all of it so can spare a couple of liters if anyone needs.
cheers ninjaa.. bikes locked and loaded, fuel, tyre pressure gauge, all checks done.. should be sweet.
i be in level 1. can't miss me, black on yellow gsxr, dainese yellow silver leathers, black cheeky helmet, red boots.

Awesome day out today.
Cheers everyone

Today I learned 2 things;
Bikes like fuel & slicks like air in them
Going through the lefty felt fucked, ''suspension's farked'', no ya rear's just flat
Awesome day, perfect weather & not too many offs
Did ya get your throttle sorted Fear?
Edit: Your bike & leathers just clicked in my head. Woulda come said gday but was pretty busy sorting out my stuff. Your form's good dude, room to go a lot quicker

Awesome day, perfect weather & minimal offs.

I'm not an alcoholic, alcoholics go to meetings,
I'm a drunk, I go to parties.
Great day out with minimal off's, the old bloke had a ball.
From a spectators point of view - some good track etiquette was displayed - no agro means a good day all round. Pleasure to watch.
hey ninjaa - yea i started the day in green group... got overlapped after the 3rd lap.. i felt the bike was new to me and i was too stiff so i went down to red group. started learning my bike and my technique again. that will teach me to change everything on the bike. took 3 sessions before i got everything right adn started pushing. was beside a state motorbike racer, chiefy 36. he graciously helped me a lot, getting tyre pressures right, giving me tips and what to work on etc etc... i found out my tyre pressures were always too high for the track. this is the first time i come back without shredded tyres and stable brakes. i usually brake at the top of the hill before turn 7, but now i brake at the bottom. Still have to work on the tip in and corner speed. i find it difficult to change direction under heavy braking so still need more practice. shame the track is closed from december and i can't make it to any of the other dates. was booked in 20th nov but it has been cancelled and i can't take any time off to attend the alternative dates.
there are a couple of ducatis that should be in the next group as they always join the beginer's group but ride quite fast. one ducati tried to do a Rossi and pass me at the basin but i usually have full throttle at the apex, i think i spooked him. if you're on here, i'm sorry, but level 1 = no overtaking at turns.
Can't wait for pics.
big thanks for Tokyo Motorsports and Marty Moose for setting up my bike. the moment i got the hang of it everythign just fell into place, and i actually learned to ride it a lot faster this time, as the bike simply responds to my inputs in a predictable manner.
any idea if there is such a thing as one on one tuition? maybe have a headset happening so instructions can be relayed etc...?
RE - pics, AFAIK his name's Steve.
