I bought my 15 year old son who rides a TTR250, a group 1 spot for Xmas and I am in group 3 riding an XR400, if you spot us please don't hesitate to say hello.

You may want to double check with Trakdayz admin as it has always been Motorcycling WA policy that anyone under 16 is not allowed to ride in with adults - in fact Macka (Trakdayz director) was involved in a big case via the Equal Opportunities Commisioner last year to try to overturn the ruling, and lost. My young bloke was one of the ones effected and couldn't ride until he turned 16, despite the fact he had raced in the Juniors and could ride the pants off most Gp1 participants.

Just don't want him to turn up and be disappointed.

Not sure if it is still the case, but when Hayden was under 16, he was not able to ride. The "powers to be" at MWA will not permit juniors on the track at the same time as seniors, so he had to wait till he turned 16. We took it to the highest level of protest, but talk about beating you head against a brick wall!! Might pay for you to check this before you take him all the way to Collie.
