Only five weeks away. The Collie weekends are always great fun with the Trakdayz crew. Macca's "original" joke about the R1 is worth hearing again ... even if it's just to confirm he needs some new material.

Head South on Saturday afternoon and camp at the track ... or if you're soft (like me) stay in town at one of the salubrious motels or hotels. The track's usually open for us at about 4.30pm.

Unload your gear, have a chat, talk about how fast you used to be and do a track walk with a beer. After dark head into town for a pub meal or Chinese or do your own thing in the camping grounds.
