COLLIE TT - EASTER April 3rd and 4th

Confirmation that the Collie TT WILL be round one of the HCMC points series, plus the first round of the WA State 125 GP series.
Saturday, April 3rd will be a practice/ride day from around 10am, as mentioned on another thread there will be a facility for a Streetbike class running on that day, turn up with full leathers/back protector, AS1698 helmet, boots and gloves, and with your bike track-prepped : stands off, glass taped or removed. $75 for the day, Streetbike class will include a rec licence for the day for newbies.
Sunday, April 4th is raceday for the HCMC crowd, including MODERNS which this year includes all grades (are you listening, Kev ?), also classes for sidecars, juniors, and historics : supp regs and entry forms are released and will appear on the club website over the weekend, when Mick's finished distributing the newsletter.
Due to the late finalisation of supp regs and details, no late entry fees will apply for this meeting, but please be courteous to our new race secretary Carrie Gardner, and get your entries in asap for this event.

Forgot to add, PLEASE fill your entry forms in slowly and read them thoroughly, for some reason the entries at the twilight meeting were woeful and caused Carrie a big chase-up. Bloody lucky we didn't get torched like when Marion was the race sec !

Entry fee ? With the probable exception of the state champs in November, all HCMC events are free admission, both at Collie and at Barbs. So come down for a perve. Or gear up, and come and have a ride in the streetbike class on the Saturday. Either way, you're welcome.

I wouldn't mind racing historic bikes. Considering the track is 15k's from my house maybe I should look around for an old honda cb or similar. Can't be much heavier than the Bandit.

My shed already has 5 bikes... I don't know if my wife would be too keen if I buy a bucket racer unless I sell a bike or two (and not one of hers or my boys)

bent subframe, bent rear set, mangled fairings. nothing major but the front end is still twisted so im taking the opportunity to fix as much as i can.

may be swinging on a sidecar now.
