Does anybody run Night time Track days?

As the tittle sugests I was wondering if anybody ran a night time track day? To be honest I havent even noticed if they have lights at Barbs, but does this every happen and is there interest in this. I thought it would be pretty cool doing it at night. Just a thought.

A couple of years ago Trakdayz was running evening sessions, but that was when daylight savings was around. Did one session with the ladies, wasn't too bad, though it was an afternoon start around 5.00pm I think

Ok, I was thinking more of night time under lights in summer. I have seen them run them in the US but have never done one myself

The historic racing club runs a twilight meet which runs on the short track at the start of the year.. (no Basin under lights).

I've done a few trackdays that ran at night, typically we ran full track under daylight then switched to the short track under lights.

They are very few and far in between but they do happen on the very rare occasion.

Are they any good, do you like doing them at night? Why no basin? Is it to hard to judge the gradient of the track under lights?

There's no flood lighting in the basin, but there are large kangaroos.

I really enjoy the night track days, having done FNR (Friday Night Rides) out of Scarborough for over a decade they made a pleasant change to be able to go ballistic when the sun goes down without having 1/2 dozen squad cars and a helicopter in pursuit.
