I'll be heading down with a few mates...I'm guessing too late/too few for the group discount?

    Pretty good day
Stuff all crashes, well done guys. Just run offs into T1, nothing in the arvo.
Highlight of the day was the Ferrari Enzo FXX binning it in the T1 sandpit

Yes it was a very expensive beach buggy. Did anyone notice that during the day two, maybe three bikes went into the same sand trap, not a peep from anyone, just basically dig it out yourself. One stinking Ferrari ( that didnt even have a toe bar ) goes in and they dispatched the bloody ambulance ?????

    Haha

Silly bikes, their play pen is on the hard stuff, not the grainy!
We judge the 'off' on face value....very soft crashes today which were dusted off with & carried on.

Big thumbs down to the bloke that completely blew us off & didn't even turn up to flag.....there was plenty of interest from more than a few PSBers & we ended up being spread pretty thin because of it
Someone probably saw me doing my nut in trying to sort leathers, boots & gloves out for riders hiring. Running to the sea container on 2/4 ligaments bloody hurt

How was the 'pit bitch' when the ferrari came out?!? "This isn't motorbikes this is 'speedcars' (I think she said?), please leave pit lane" < Sandy vag

Great fun out on the bike. No crashes was good to see, apart from the few run offs.
The only downside I thought was being that the day started at 10:15. That was when yellow group first went out. Riders briefing was supposed to be 9am and ended up at 9:40 with an extremely long briefing... Not the first time that's happened either it seems to be becoming more frequent...

Fucken hell! How'd they manage that? I mean, it was an Fxx not just an Enzo?

They are not a car that sits in your garage, you basicly borrow it and ferrari meant to take it to the track for you....

Was the little sandy vag pit bitch Italian, or a local?

I was flagging Pit exit today and yes three went into the sand, all but one upright. At least a dozen others simply outbraked and ran on. Had we stopped the session to help guys who really didn't need it, your day would have been seriously curtailed.
My right arm is still aching from yellow flags! When the prancing horse came unstuck, there was no flaggies on track so Alan went over as a precaution as all good medicos would.

Hey all! Yes all in all it was a good day just a few run offs and no big issues. For those of u who don't no my name is Jon and I'm more than likely the guy who scrootinered ur bike (I did all but 2 haha). Yes the day started late but as u could have seen that wasn't from lack of trying on our part. Russ thanks heaps mate u were kinda in the deep end with leathers haha.
Yes the late start sucked and Steve has a tendency of do long briefs ( I have already mentioned it to him) so don't worry these things aren't going unnoticed.
Thanks heaps to everyone that helped out and every1 who rode. A lot of effort goes into gettin it all ready and packed away and it was a rough start 2 the day with the key being left in QLD haha then the Dominos began to fall really. Sorry guys missed out on that last session of the day but if u have $3,000,000 2 spend on a dune buggy u get the track wen u want it really haha.
Again hope all the riders had fun and feel free to come say hi nxt time!

So what was the big occasion with the Enzo? Did it come out after you guys had finished for the day?

Mmmmmm yeah doesn't help when half the riders turn up at 8.30, bikes not through scrutineering....completely fresh

Yeah mate, an FXX. I've got footage on my phone but can't upload it due to bricky-ness
It was Mr Barbagallo's himself, with a driver testing it....absolutely insane seeing the rotors light up coming into T7!
....Dunno, pretty bossy....I guess she thought, somehow, all the downforce it produces would turn into a black hole reversing the effect making it flip in the air & land on our heads? That or the concrete wall would disintegrate on impact & the 90 degree turn it would create (from the black hole, durr) running us all over.
Edit - Think I have sunstroke

Never done a champions day so I thought I would bring the kids up for a look and see how they (champions) work it. Wtf can I say! Think I will stick with race craft and trakdayz.

Not so sure its barbagallos car actually, i've run into the guy that was driving before, and somehow the guys has some serious coin. he was driving a new at the time 997 911 GT2. I suspect it is actually him that owned it, unless you heard different from the horses mouth?

Couple of photos of the car attached, i didn't believe for a second when my mate said there was an FXX parked up the end of the pits, couldn't believe my eyes!

Anyways, I had a great day in yellow, still having issues with my front brakes that im becoming a little irriated with but anyways. How good were the conditions! no wonder there was such a backlog at sign in, must have been a lot of last minute bookings!

Get it sorted Matt, don't leave them in that way mate. I've seen how hamfisted you are with a throttle.
