Fairing Repair
Where do you guys get major repairwork done? Nelson Panel and Paint seem to be off the radar these days.
I know there are countless repair threads (I have seen them all) but I am not looking for pristine, mega bucks restoration. I need some fairings repaired and given a quick lick of paint for a price that's not going to break the bank.
Got any local contacts? CheersKINDLY SPONSORED BY: BGC, Rocla Quarry Products, Xypex, Collins Leathers.

I got mine done in Rockingham for 600 bucks after my round 3 off track exccersion.
That was everything bar the front guard and a full respray in one color.
The guy does boats mainly but I could ask how busy he is if you like?

Thanks to some tutoring, learnt to do it myself. Definitely saves the $$$$$

I had my badly chipped & rather 'manky' race glass resprayed & repaired by Daryl at RPM Panel & Paint in Bibra Lake for $580.
Very pleased with the results, but amazing how quickly the stone chips reappear after a couple of trackdays. Wish I were a dab hand at spray painting, but was not in the 'simple sailor's' syllabus at the Naval College.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, given me lots of angles to pursue.
Definitely agree with you Tim, mind giving us a yell next time you're fixing something up (don't mean to jinx you there) so I can see how it's done?KINDLY SPONSORED BY: BGC, Rocla Quarry Products, Xypex, Collins Leathers.

I can teach you if you have some time on your hands Nigel. It is time consuming and messy, and you need a few things like a respirator, but you get to learn a new skill.
But, if you are busy with school and can't be fucked than and of the above mentioned shops can help I'm sure.EXPERIENCE: noun: Knowledge or skill derived from actual participation or direct contact rather than mere study, interest or internet.
