whoa dude looked like you were on the bitumen for a while rollling ya head around
This^^^^^
saved my bike big time. Although my bike is a bit heavier with all that basin sand and rocks etc
Yeah me too mate. I tried to get up afterwards as the bike still looked alright from where I was on the ground and it wasn't till I tried to situp that the pain set-in and one of the Trkdayz crew told me to lie back down as my helmet was damaged. Needless to say I was happy to oblige.
The Superduke was well protected and came off much better than me. Just a few scratches on the right fairings and thats it really besides worn metal and sliders etc.
Oh the green whistle!
Hopegully I'll be back on the bike in no time.![]()
Here is the vid the crash is in the last 30 secs if you want to skip. It went squirelly a couple of laps earlier on turn 1 and I think what happened was I was going too fast into the corner and leant the bike over too much and it just let go. Both the front and rear washed out from under me at the same time. Lesson learnt.

Looks like you turned in quite a bit later than the laps before, but aiming for the same corner entry point...but that`s just from looking at the video. Were there any coaches behind you at the time?

Ah, the old subluxation of the shoulder Justin?
Strange though, how did you managed to do the left one after falling on the right?
LMAO at your corner speed V's straight line speed, I see what you meant now about being left behind on the straights and catching everyone into the bends.![]()

well it seems that you need to give me some details of your sliders then.. Sounds like you'd recommend them after all

Yeah Stephan I think you're right there I ran in faster and overshot my turn in point, didnt adjust for the speed accordingly. No coaches behind me mate I was all on my own for a few laps.
hmmmm dunno hey but it was almost instantaneous. Mind you this is my first real low side
bad juju?
Yep glad they gave me the laughing gas though when they popped it back in.
Not a care in the world.
I think when I came off I managed to slid on my face/head and then when I transitioned from the track to the sand my right shoulder dug in and popped out. Just from the different types of damage to my jacket.
At least it's faster than the 250even sideways down the basin.
I think if I could get smoother and get cranking out of the corner sooner that would help more. I think I've found some good lines and was still getting used to the speed etc of the new street brawler.![]()
Next time I'll try and spend more time in the track.![]()
This is what saved my bike from more damage GB Racing I thought it was he best given all the shapes of the superduke.
