Help Problem with lap timer

Heya anyone that owns an Ir transmitter for the XT lap timer can you tell me what one flash of the power light...orange colour means ....supposed to flash green for all good and red for low battery i get one orange flash and thats it ...tried it with batteries ...different bike batteries and even my car battery ...it just aint working.. Please explain if im doing something wrong .....it appears really you cant.

Contact XT. They have awesome customer service. Check the manual first though.
