How much wear can you get out of BT-002/3's?

Got a few sets of these lying around that came with the bike, plenty of tread on the left side naturally but the right sides have about 3mm tread depth on the little grooves. I can't find any other info on when people replace them or when scrutineers will disallow them. Is it worth getting another track day outta these before binning them???

    Cheers!

Why don't you rotate the tyres, so what was on the left is now on the right? As long as there isn't puddles right the way around the track, you should be fine with a rotated tyre.

Finding someone to rotate the tyre for you (unless you do it yourself) may be a lot harder though.

Thanks for that, always wondered how important the directional arrow was. I actually just had the wear indicators pointed out to me and they're all pretty close to being on it on the right hand side. Went and got a new tyre to be safe for next weekend, will get some tyre levers and swap the others onto it backwards next time it's due to be replaced.

    My thoughts are...

How much is a new tyre?

How much is a new bike?

I never skimped on track tyres...just not worth it...

I think age of the tyres is a significant issue. Only run the rears reversed, not the fronts.
