It feels like just yesterday I saw Matt lying in Shents dealing with the rehab/pain/uncertainty of life in general. Ive sat by him(telling him off colour jokes to help lighten the mood) doing the rehab, and learning to deal with it all. Its been a crazy ride, and to see this happen...well. Its just beyonds words really. He's a bloody legend. The mental toughness this guy has is just amazing. Onya Matty.

I did ask him, and one word is all I got...''weird''. Fair enough I reckon. He has had this monkey riding on his back for a long time. But I know that just like another great racer, Saf, he doesnt consider himself handicapped in any way. He's a stubborn git that much I know both Saf and Matt. If anything ever happened to me like paraplegia, I dont know if Id be as brave, determined or have big enough cojohnas(sp? fuckit balls) to do what theses guys jave done, to face down a fear as big as this? Much respect and admiration. Am I gushing yet??

well done mate. Matt is a good person. i bought a bike from him and it's not often i can say anything genuinely positive about someone selling me anything. If he's going to be a regular at the track i'd like to watch him. He was awesome before and getting back on it again proves he is just as legendary.
