Remember when traction control really took off and people were complaining it took all the skill out and they missed the older bikes that slid and spun up everywhere...

Or Ramon Forcada (Jorge's current crew chief - Stoners chief in 2006)
"They are very fast riders, but the character is very different. Casey's more natural. He's fast. He's fast because he's an animal. And Jorge needs to work more, with the training."

    Or Andrea Dovizioso
"I saw Stoner's telemetry, and his throttle control is incredibly delicate. He also uses very little traction control."

    Or Loris Capirossi
"Looking at Stoner's telemetry with the Ducati, you can understand that he rides it very well, but it's also true that his style cannot be replicated; he really uses the rear brake a lot, and he's applying a lot of pressure on it in situations where it's difficult to do so".

And perhaps the most ominous quote - Shuhei Nakamoto (HRC Boss) on his prediction for Casey on the 1000cc.
"You should win all 18 races next year."

Honestly - I'm not a Stoner fanboy (I've been watching GP racing since Gardener won the WC - my favorite riders are actually Doohan, Rossi, Bayliss & Edwards), but after this season my opinion of Stoner has magnified immensely.

Thats a great photo, would love to see a video of that slide in Valencia, you would assume he's sliding in the left hander before the main straight ??

Looks like Casey is perfecting his slide in turn 3 at Phillip Is.
