Race Hauler?

Picking up our Nissan Navaro D22 this week. Not my choice, company vehicle but it's pretty decent. The big question becomes, can I fit my bike in this thing? It's a 4X4 ST-R. All of the pickup trucks here are tiny (compared to N. America, and I don't know what the hell you call them here either!). Does anybody have one of these? Is there any way I'm going to get my 600RR in the back for getting to and from the track?

If not, where should I look for a trailer? Most guys back home use a 6'x12' enclosed or bigger. I think I'd be able to make due with a 5x10, but it must be enclosed. Between the bike, spares and my toolbox, there will be like $25K stored in there so open won't do. The 5x10 I can roll into the double garage too.

Thanks
Josh

Hi Josh.....I have a 5 x 8 fully enclosed for sale if your interested. Two race bikes easey....with heaps of room for gear etc. It is high though...it is high to fully stand up in (my hubby is 6 foot +) and there is plenty of head room for him.

Havng said that....Ive seen a lot of the guys roll up their bikes into the back of their trays....guess u can have a trial run with borrowing a bike?

PM me if ur interested in the trailer I have.....asking $1500ono/

Cols

Thanks guys. The wheelbase on a MX bike is actually quite a bit more than a sport bike. I don't think it will fit either. Yes it's a double cab. The tailgate is hung by steel bars instead of cable so I think it would bear the weight. I just don't know if it will fit.

Time to start hunting for a trailer I suppose. I'll have a look around. I'll see some of you at the track tomorrow.

Navaras have a bit of room for the driver, if you dont like the rear passengers.
In the tub tray, with the back down, you can fit a MX bike. Mate has an ATV that goes in the tub with the back up, and I think sometimes his wifes MX CAN bit fitted diagonally as well. Usually if there are a few more hands to help shift it in there.
