He's in St. John O Gods - Murdoch. Has done his EC joint - not his collar bone - they will be deciding on treatment hopefully today.

Supported and kept fit by
Despite the injuries he was in good spirits when we picked him out of the sand!
Heads up, Josh, you were looking fast. See ya on the track next season.
Good luck.
Two's company, three's a race!
I seem to recall him saying something like, I really dont want to make a habit of this when he was talking to the paramedics..
Heal Fast mate.
Was that Josh that flipped on turn seven and crawled off the track??
That crash gave me chills...
Glad to hear ur not too banged up!!
Heal fast buddy ... trust the canadian to put in the sand.. I know your not used to beaches mate but thats taking it a little far![]()
speedy recovery heal fast mate
You know what you get for being a hero? Nothing. You get shot at. A little pat on the back, blah blah blah, attaboy. You get divorced. Your wife can't remember your last name. Kids don't wanna talk to you. Get to eat a lot of meals by yourself. Trust me kid, nobody wants to be that guy
Josh, next time can you not do it infront of me please. Dodging a flipping R6 at pace isn't too fun... Hope you heal up fast dude. I gotta beat you legit, Trist
Going into turn 7 with 2 others. Looked like he grabbed a bucket load of brake (or the front locked up) and flipped while half lent over. Looked pretty specky. But unfortunately 3 into one don't go too well.
Heal up mate and we'll see you in round 1!
Those who risk nothing, do nothing, achieve nothing, become nothing.
Shit! Then he is lucky, I thought there wouldve been more injuries... Glad ur ok Josh!
All i saw was someone flipping and then "quickly" crawling off the track... Looked painful! Very glad u got off the track!!
Welcome to the shoulder bump club.
Can someone pass this onto Josh? Surgery is only a 50/50 bet with an A/C joint and then you are going to have to put up with the post operative stuff too.
He's much better off just doing physio on it. I completely ruptured my A/C and was back riding and lifting stuff within 6 or so weeks, don't even know I've done it until I look in the mirror.
Ok, one handed here so this may take a little while....
First off, thanks for all the nice words. A huge thanks to the cornerworkers, medical staff trackside, ambulance officers, and ER staf at Joondalup and Murdoch hospitals.
From what I recall..... Made a pass into turn 7. Made clear intent for the inside line, braking, moving body into position and a bike comes across my line from the outside. Either made a bit of contact with his rear wheel or I just grabbed a fistfull as the forks were already bottomed out. The result, since my weight was already shifted to the right for the turn, was flip of epic proportions.
I'm not playing the blame game. Like I said, my reccolection isn't very clear. Thery very well could have been plenty of room and I just grabbed to much brake while already tipped in. I don't really know and it doesn't really matter.
I came down on the right side of my head and my right shoulder. Did a few tumbles and crawled off to avoid bikes as I was still well on the track. I collapsed in the sand but stayed awake enough to realized my shoulder was munted.
Tons of morphine, a dozen Xrays, two hospitals, and two days later the diagnosis is a shredded a/c joint. There is about a 30mm drop between the distal end of my clavical and my shoulder. The doc said most of the time they just leave them and they will heal but given the sevarity of the ligament damage and the size of the drop, they are going to operate. He says they will replace the damaged ligaments with one that serves a less important function. Surgury will be this weekend. 4 month recovery by the sounds of things.
Haven't looked at the bike yet but it doesn't matter. I'll get my shoulder sorted before I start worrying about it.
I should be repaired and fit for the start of next racing season. Thanks again to everyone who helped pack up my shit and get my bike home. Especially Hudson who called me in hospital to find out what was going on.
A couple things...... Someone found my instrument cluster? Does anybody know who has it now?
AND......did anybody get pictures of that shit? LOL

damn Josh, sorry to hear.
If you need anything at all, all you have to do is ask, it's what PSB does best
In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.
Fuck harsh mate

Josh bad news. All the best was a terrifying thing to watch.... you had us all pretty scared!
