This is a great little track to start on. It is tighter than barbs and will hone your technique at slower speeds.

    Yes, but no scooters again.

    Isn't Collie an anti-clockwise track?

whilst it is much lower gears (2-4 on the 600, and for many 2+3 only on the 1000's)

the average lap speed is only down from wanneroo by about 15kmh.

have fun down there, the track is genuinley awesome.

(oh and sorry arwon, you've got to chase 46.2 now if you want to keep up)

I have only ridden it twice so I'll have some time over summer to get used to it. Let's see how we go.

See you all down there. Will be good to do a track with more than 1 left, especially considering my body positioning is better on lefts for some reason.
Gutsy question. You're a shark. Sharks are winners, and they don't look back because they have no necks. Necks are for sheep.

Relax over the bumps... Just let the bikes suspension deal with them. Don't hold on super tight as it will just wear you out and make it feel horrible.

i've still got a hardon from this. awesome day. first time at collie, first time on the r6 which was interesting cos i started trying to ride it like the zx12.....doesnt work that way. i think i spent more time with my knee on the deck today than i have in my entire riding career. and i think i got more prep done on the bike in the last 24hrs than the past 18 months that ive had it, its amazing what booking yourself in to a rideday can do for your motivation. a+++, will do again

Nice going Chief. Lotsa people have a bit of a phobia about Collie (7 corners in a mile, bumpy, turning left etc) but it's a good fun, scratchy, bumpy, club circuit which is good, old-fashioned fun. On Ya !

Very nice lines stewy. Sharp turn in, gradual exits, means you can brake later, and accelerate harder. Late entry into the kink means you keep tight on the exit and get a smother straighter run at the chicane, alot of people get sucked into aiming at the start if the kink, but a late apex is brilliant.

Your run from 2, over the bumps, into 'the off camber' corner at 3, looks remarkabley similar to mine. Quite a shallow entry into 3, but much wider and you will find the track goes very off camber. Also, that pass there at 4minutes was text book. Probably my favorite place to pass.

    Thoroughly enjoyed that video.
