Does anyone know if the riders that came down in the second supersport/superstock race are ok ?
I was trying to find out but can't find anything.
To all the racers today what an awesome day of racing , my hat goes off to everyone of you.

Alex Scaglioni is currently in hospital with some pretty horrific injuries, including broken pelvis and dislocated leg from reports I've heard..... The exact injuries may be different, but that's the news at the moment.

Wishing Alex all the best for a speedy recovery. Was spectating up at Skyline at the time. It was a very nasty crash.

An email I have just received from Pete Smith (Clerk of course)
I can’t believe it but Alex just called me from hospital and he is in very good spirits (now that his femur is back in place).
Doesn’t look like they will operate on his pelvis, just stabilize it, and a small manipulation later on to replace his dislocated shoulder.
Obviously the drugs must be great but he is one very lucky boy who should make a good recovery.
Let’s keep the pressure on the WASCC about that wall…………

That's fantastic news. It scared the crap out of me just watching it happen, and yes, I think it's time that all of us got together and put some pressure on getting something done about the concrete wall. Racers or just track day junkies, we need to see what can be done as a group. IMO, shifting it back a short distance will do nothing. The concrete has to go or at the very least be covered with some sort of soft impact type material
Anyway, enough of my soapbox, again, well done Alex.
It is great to hear Alex is in good spirits , heal up.
As for the wall does anyone know if this is a totally privately owned track or does the government have some share in it ?
