Leave approved, entry in and new tyres on the way. Superstock and club 600 this time around, only have to go 2-3 seconds quicker per lap to be on par with nigel and i'm in with a chance see you up there Pottz.

After your first practise session go to the office and look at the timing sheet, pick a rider around a second quicker, remember his number. Second session wait in the dummy grid and follow them out and grab a tow, try and brake when he does and stay with them. If all good repeat until you just cannot stick with them. From time to time you will think you have stuffed up and will not pull up or make the corner......but remember they did. The last time I did this I stuffed up and got Jamie Bolland and when I got to the basin I shit myself, had the leaver in hard as right to apex waiting for the front to wash away, made the corner and did a PB. Just commit to the corner, the grip is there

    My 2 cents worth....

    The corollary to that story:

Back in 2009 I was zooming around in a practise day when Glen Radica came flying past me into the basin. I distinctly remember the logic of thinking that we're on similar bikes, he's about 1-2 seconds a lap faster, therefore if he can do it, I can do it. Next time, followed him into the basin, got on the brakes, lost the front, ate 4kg of sand
    Not for individual sale.

Hmmm, the basin seems to be the spot where hero moves come unstuck, I remember doing the same thing behind Cameron Gore.

    See you all next round.

PrestigeCBR - You are right there, last weekend was the first time I have recieved a real tow, and .5 seconds off the PB is a great way to advance. Mike Edgecombe and Aidan Hopkins are way better than me on the brakes, and Mark Donnely and Jarrad Gardner are just so much quicker than me everywhere. They are my four to watch *cough* follow *cough* at the next meet.

MattDCR - I wish, I had 2nd place handed to me after #170 and #14 binned it, I had to push to keep the tow from #70 too. With a couple of new entries like pottz on the cbr I will certainly be struggling to hold my form, but there's nothing stopping me from giving it a crack though.

Bring on the tuning session on the 5th

    Nothing wrong with that Tina

Looks like I'll be dragging Rob Clarke around the track in the chair this round. Flygirl has uni exams.

That was a shocker for me... 'bout normal for the other racers though.

Hey all, am new to PSB, still doing lessons etc. Regardless, I'd like to get along and have a watch on some race days, get involved etc.

What are the details? Where, when, $ and all that?

Sorry if this is stated a dozen times elsewhere, am on me phoooone...
