We that was a bizarre day.

.I even managed to stack it and damage my 100-400 lens.
Makes some nasty sounds and sticks when you zoom in and out.
So she's off for another service.

fuck no. Hope it gets fixed OK. Dropped my $2.5k 100-300 lens just after I got it. Happened at Kings and I was almost bawling my eyes out as I crossed the track. The marshall on the 4 wheeler must have reckoned I was nusto..

Joey found a nice one...he was flying in group1...note the rear wheel.....
A moment later he was flying upwards out of the seat but saved it.
(Missed the shot though.)

Service centre has fwd'd the lens on to Canon in Sydney.

Guess that puts Sunburnt Photography out of action for a while..........might have to take to the R1 to the track instead.
