There wasn't any sand - just hub deep water and mud - every part of the bike that was under water (literally) is chock full of mud. Washed the boots out ten times and there's still some in them. They tried to pull the bike out with the ute and trailer - but it was so bogged it pulled the damn tail gate off the trailer. Almost pissed myself laughing!
The young lad on the recovery vehicle took to two steps into the swamp and it pulled his shoes off!
Have to take the wheel bearings out and clean them out!
If it wasn't for the potential damage to the bike it would have been hilarious - oh hang on it was hilarious
The newly discovered wetlands at Barbagallo means it will be declared a nature reserve shortly!
