Only just started fixing the bike after stacking it last time out in March 2011. Got new fairings kinda half fitted, forks need untwisting in the triples, and front calipers need new seals around. Then I'll be there. Starting to find the motivation now after spending Christmas at home and pit bitching for my brother with his cage at Taupo ( MK 1 Escort Mexico ). Still on 4/1 so we'll see if the stars line up.

^^ in my 4th session on Sunday the front Break cylinder ceased heading into turn 4 (lucky I dont ride fast or it could have ended badly) so with absolutely no breaks on the track bike we had to use the old bunkey bmw. lol

And congrats on your track licence Ninjaa (yes I am jealous), I did not pass mine apparently I need to get more agressive.

Definitely seized? The master cylinder right? Just weird that it seized open. Although it's better than seizing shut & sliding you down the road!

If I could add anything mate, it would be to brake a little early but not as hard & carry more speed through those bendy bits

Yep the master cylander was rock solid. We had just toped up he brake fluid befor that sesion as the fluid was leaking through the hydralic hose and may have used inconpatable fluid. I dont know if that would make it go rock solid though. By the end of the day after about 20 people having a go at it it did seam to have freed up and was acting on the front calipers again. Not something I would want to happen at Barbs so getting a new master cylander just in case.
Thanks for the tip a few people said I was not carrieing enough speed through the corners and when I analised the data on the qstar shit I was slow in the corners. I meen slow 43k's in the hairpins 70 k's through the sweepers. I will be looking for a bit more balls on the 25th, combind with getting my head into the corner and looking through the corner. Back to basics.
