I went and had a chat to Chris Mathieson, who rides the Aust champ "Nitro Voodoo" machine in the fourth pic : some pretty hairy stats ....

Weighs 540 kg, 1500cc, supercharged on 85% nitro, around 1500 hp, launches at 4g's, pulls just under negative 3 g's when he stops it, holds the record at 6.05 seconds and regularly goes through the trap at around 220 mph. Reckons race night is ok but then hurts for three days afterwards while the bruising comes out from getting hammered on the thing : fkn AWESOME !!

yeah those things are just awesome - still recovering from standing a couple of metres from them when they take off. like you say fkn AWESOME!

nope not I. Awesome racing last night. I have been following robwas on the black ZX10 in comp bike. Was going well until he red lighted the start in the semi against Gummow.
