Only if you've been booted before for going too fast. There is always the option for you to race, but you have to pay for a higher level race license. I think the figure is if you run under a 10.00 ET you're too fast for the regular Day license.

I got booted out in the car after running a 11.4 ... They said it was something to do with trap speed of 124mph as I went over the line on the brakes

yeh, 120mph or sub 10 (or is it 10.99??) will get you pooh-poohed off track if your in a street car with no cage.

mmmmm hmmm not sure what i'll do but just have to have a go... can think of a few things that could slow me down.. do you have to do the warm-up burnout??? the Zed loved them but i got my Viffa now and they run linked brake combo and i've never even thought about a static burnout, instead i'll just go.. even sounds like i may have to back off a tad so they dont kick me off..haha..

Nope. I am a big girly man with no skills or coordination and as such, would likely bin my shit if I tried to do a burnout. They still let me play in all their reindeer games despite this. Besides, most sports bikes with tyres better than shinkos will almost certainly lift the front before lighting up anyway unless it's a very, very cold night.

I need to get the first service (1000km) out the way for the MT-01, she'll be getting a full zorst system, K&N & braided lines.

Then I'll be down... see how quickly 150Nm will get the barge down the quarter mile. I have no idea what these things will pull down the strip, at the very least she'll be sounding nice.
