Thought I'd take my toy down to the 'Plex for the first time on Wednesday (29th) to see how I'd go. Been about a year and a half since last doing it (in Darwin) so wasn't expecting miracles. Unfortunately there were a million tin tops down there and some idiot was letting a row of cars through twice before giving us a go. So 45-50 minutes between runs only resulted in 4 passes. 43 seconds of track time = 30 bucks. Hmmm... Anyway, here's my best for the night.

    Elapsed Time - 10.743

    Terminal Speed - 222.47 kph
    Reaction Time - 0.140
    60' - 2.081
    330' - 4.987
    660' - 7.217 (speed - 177.96 kph)
    1000' - 9.117

Went last night, second time I've gone and raced.

    MODEL: Kawasaki ZZR
    YEAR: 2000
    CAPACITY: 1025cccc
    MODS: K&N Filter, Black paint

    Elaspsed Time: 11.838sec

    Terminal Speed: 188.84km/h

    Reaction time: 0.026

    60': 2.056sec

    330': 5.222sec

    660' 7.770sec

    660' Speed 156.04km/h

    1000' 9.964Sec

This is my best result so far, even better for being a fat bastage on a poor old ZZR...Best ever 60' time and I've had some shockers, worst 1/4 mile time last night was 12.5 seconds due to me forgetting to put down my visor just as the tree started . Damn I'm a moron....

Maya I believe I met you last night. I thought you meant subscribed to the "other" list, I didn't hear you right sorry.....

had my first run last night

    Model: Kawasaki zx12r
    Year : 03
    Capacity : 1200
    Mods : yoshi can
    Time : 10.621 @ 212 kph
    Reaction Time : 0.228

big improvement on the 11.4 first run. got a 10.9 on the back wheel most of the way. think i need to play with the suspension a bit, spent far too much time with the front end wavering around in the air

    YEAR: 2001
    CAPACITY: 929cc
    MODS: None
TIME: 11.19s @ 210km/h ( i think the speed is right. Cant remember)
    REACTION TIME: 0.003 seconds

The time on this run, my fifth and last, should have been lower, but the cage before me dumped a sump at the exact place I change into 3rd! I had never had my bike snatch sideways changing into 3rd at 100 and something k's an hour, it was a bit scary.
    [/b]
dumped the whole sump? and they didn't clean the track? and they still let you ride on through the oil?

So you stepped out sideways and still ran an 11 sec 1/4?

    or a poor excuse.

Your right Sucka my times are pretty average, times listed were stock length as I only fitted the long arm a couple of weeks ago.

Well I finally cracked it at the Motorplex!!! It has been a hell of a long and frustrating time comming. My best to date was 10.007 I had run 10.0?? 17 times and could'nt get that elusive 9 for over 6 months. Yesterday I raced in Mod bike for the first time and the only change I made to the bike was to remove the pipes from the collector back originally so that I could hear my bike over those other noisy bikes. No NOS (still not fitted)

    Yesterdays runs:
10.216 @138.63 - 60'-0 1.739 (backed out as tyre hitting hard on undertail)
    9.995 @ 139.10 - 60'-0 1.672
    9.935 @ 144.92 - 60'-0 1.680
    9.850 @ 144.92 - 60'-0 1.643
    9.801 @ 145.63 - 60'-0 1.646
    9.829 @ 144.23 - 60'-0 1.644

Had a fantastic night, got knocked out in the last run but really didnt give a stuff.
