    06 gt250r

Ok, so because I'm a dickhead I destroyed my GPX and I'm now looking at an 06 Hyo GT250R (insert hate messages here). I test rode one the other day, it felt very nice and I want to buy it but I'm hearing a lot of people bagging out the 06 model. What are the problems with it? Is it just that it looks a little worse than the newer models or are there actually some real problems with them?

A few had engines replaced under warranty, I think the issue was with the big end bearings siezing. Check the service history for warranty work.

Apparently the year after and up (i.e. 2007+) is the way to go.

If there is an '06 still on the road - and it has a fair amount of k's you can only presume that everything has either worked well or been fixed. Probably...
