Forgive the hijack from exhausts but was wondering about security for our babies!!!
Open to ideas....atm BINKY has had ignition jimmied and some rather suspicious rocks left in various places on the swing arm... bike is about to be put at further risk in an open bay parking area (not much I can do about it..dramas of living @ a complex)

Suggestions???

I still have half dozen of those anchor plates here if anyone wants them, they are a steel plate approx 100mm x 75mm and 5mm thick with a steel bar half circle welded to them, with a hole in centre of plate to bolt onto concrete,

Well I got a call from the RAC assessor yesterday who kindly informed me that my bike is beyond repair, which is kinda cool because I vowed never to sell it and I didn't lose any money, through resale, on buying a brand new 250 hahaha. A week and a half of not-being-able-to-do-much-because-of-a-busted-ass-kidney kinda sucks though, oh well.

This weekend, the doctors advised, I am allowed to do the 'motorbiking' again, time to dust off the GPX and roll start it down my uber steep driveway...

Anyways, the deal is when they write off a bike it becomes 'theirs', including all the cool bits I put on, such as the 47-tooth rear sprocket, cowl seat cover, Roo Pipe, tinted screen etc. None of these bits were damaged in the accident so they'll be up for sale by Auction very soon, I'll keep you posted. Also the RHS fairing is in good nick, LHS is well munted though.

In a nutshell half a bike, in pieces, plus some after market goodies will be available soon, probably quite cheaply, at the Pickles Auctions.... I think that's what they're called...

Got it done through K-Tec, they ordered in the sprocket and chain (not sure if the chain is still OK on my ex-bike as the rear-set was bent into it, seemed to roll along OK though)
