Don't worry I'm getting some assistance this weekend to fix all the niggly bits in suspension setup and carby tuning so that it works like it should.
The tyres may come a little later when money starts rolling in, current ones came with the bike and are a bit old and brittle so I feel updating would be a safe option.
Then decided to look into the effects of non-standard sizings.. with my car I widened the front scrub radius to near the same as a porsche, and compensated with higher offset wheels to keep the same ackermans angle. Much wider, lower offset rear wheels partly for the look, and partly for the stability
End result was a car that drives dead straight without holding the steering wheel for over a kilometre regardless of bumps and road camber
Cornering stability and grip is greatly increased
Slightly more rolling resistance and heavier steering from all the extra rubber and wheel weight (but its not a race car)
and reverse parking is easier, forward parking is harder and turning circle is now equivalent to a huge ass family car
Overall: I call it a success and reacted exactly how all the theories suggested
But I didn't know how any of it would affect a bike at first and so I did all the research and asking around of experts that I could, and thats where my info comes from.
The dude who did it to his green ninja confirmed it too
I won't disagree that its probably a bad change for anyone who rides a sports bike like its meant to be ridden (hence why its designed that way)
But I also stand by my beliefs that its better for anyone who rides it like a cruiser, slower more upright cornering, and lots of tame highway trips
Now for the record, you didn't need to read all that.. just thought I'd share
