    aftermarket exhaust ninja 250 '09

Currently in the market for an aftermarket exhaust.
I don't have the big bucks for a full yoshi system, but willing to spend around, maybe... $450 ish? Give or take. Obviously, the cheaper the better.

I'd like a nice deep tone, not too loud but definitely louder than stock. Performance increase is a bonus
I've been doing a bit of research on the net but I've just been inundated by all the brands. So many to choose from!

Also, should I just spend the money and get a full exhaust system or just a simple slip on??

    Cheers,

Go the slipon. Looks great, sound great (if you like that kind of thing).

I've got a yoshi slipon on my ninja (thanks to a previous owner) which I like the look of, and I hear two brothers also makes a good one.

IMO it'd me more of a visual/noise thing with little or no performance gain so as long as you realise that then you're all good. Anyone may flame away if I have anything wrong here

You should try giving the search function a go, heaps if threads on what people have done.

I would say go the Roo slip on. That's the deepest from memory.

Ive heard the Yoshi vs Two Brothers and Yoshi wins hands down. They are also pretty cheap $369 with free shipping here 2008-2010 (ZX2R)
I went the whole year without one on my 250 though, but if you got a spare $370 and you dont mind getting a possible yellow from the police go for it.

i agree, most people only have their 250 for a year so what is the point of spending money on it you are just going to lose?

i'm a hypocrite for buying a bike with exhaust but personally i wouldn't put one on a 250 (if the stock one is working fine), simply because you need to rev so high to squeeze the power out of it / travel at speeds of 90kms +

    super loud... super annoying.

Go a pipe if u can afford it, stock bikes sound like $*!t even if its only a year its still a year, will make the bike easier to sell even if u do lose a few bob.
