    get a pipe...ull notice the difference at 130-170km speeds...saying that it is a 250..its not going to be incredibly loud or give you massive gains but it will be noticeable (well it was on my 07).... but hey its a bit of fun + cause your fairly new to riding hopefully the cars will hear the annoying buzz and not pull out in front of you as much.

    get a howler...buy it on ebay for $220...and fit it yourself.....failing that...give me a carton and ill fit it.

    Ours aren't as cheap as the ebay models etc so depends what you're after and you get what you pay for, they certainly are much lighter than stock.

    Man the hyo's I see getting around at uni with milo tins for exhausts sound like fucking lawnmowers.

    straight through exhausts on these things are powerful-ghey, I wouldn't do it.

    Agreed. Even the 250 Ninja with an after market can sounds laughable.

    Put the money towards your next bike.

    thanks for the help guys,
    i will be putting a pipe on coz i plan on keeping this bike for quite a while, and i do have a bit of cash saved so i can afford to do it and still get rider trainering ect. and saving for a bigger bike should not take long :p
    will still have to look at what but i now have a better idea of whats out there.

    saved your money slip exhausts only gain 1hp fulls 2.5hp and with a load exhaust ya just asking for trouble from the po po they will send ya to the pits and give ya the shits just do some exercise and burn the fat shred the kilos and you will go faster !

    i wiegh 60kg now...i think if i shreded some kilos i would be classified as anorexic :s
    i'm not to interested in power and all just want a bit more sound to turn a few more heads :p
