Countless times I have read a thread of a fellow rider with a tiny budget willing to die to own a motorcycle but doesn't have the funds. Always shunted to the FS thread and directed by the bunky brigade while someone screams out "by a CT110". Often someone would suggest saving up a little more and spend the 4k for a cbr125, which I did while at uni and lets just say I ate a lot of mi goreng noodles for a while.
Now to end my rambling it seems Honda has heard the cries (possibly from the poor diet) of the poverty stricken and decided to release the CB125E which will cost you $1990.

Probably wont set the world on fire but for that price who cares.Set to go on sale in early 2012, the naked CB125E will become the 12th entry in Honda’s learner-approved motorcycle and scooter range, and retail for just $1990.
At that price point you won’t get the world, but there’s more than enough for the short commute: a 124cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine engine, twin rear shocks, a drum rear brake, a low seat height and electric start.
And if the CB125E is like any of its small-bore, four-stroke predecessors, including the original CB125, it will put up with being shamelessly mistreated and still produce some first-rate fuel consumption figures.
The CB125E will be available in three colours: red, white and blue.
Edit just saw the other thread for it Honda introducing $1990 CB125 next month
