FWIW I had a 2fiddy cruiser. Took me far too long to upgrade.
It was gayer than cum on a moustache, if that helps.
But it sure as shit beat NOT riding a bike at all. You're in the right city, just the wrong nightclub.

Chaps go well with these bikes, I'm told.
"It moved"
Sick puppies - if it feels right, ride it Babe!
mm yes its gay xD unless u like that sorta thing...
No bike... some c**t stole it

your asking a (majority) sportsbike forum whether 250 cruisers are gay, of course they'll say yes.
buy the virago if you like it. with any 250, you'll get bored with the lack of power soon enough, but the virago is a good bike.
or be like everyone else and buy a hyosung or a ninja
depends what your plans for future bike are, a workmate had a 250 virago until he got his R class and saved up for his harley dyna, i wouldn't have called him gay.
Another had the hyosung aquila cruiser until he got his harley sportster.
If you're aiming for a cruiser then might as well start with a cruiser, if you're not sure it will either cement your opinion or change your mind and encourage you to look a other bikes.
Your always going to get a negative response on a mainly sports bike forum. I think the main question is what kind of bike do you eventually want to end up with. If you like sports bikes and want to go really wast and get your knee down buy a sports bike. If you like to cruise along on a comfortable bike that can still do double the speed limit buy a cruiser. 2 months on any 250 you buy will already have you wanting to upgrade. Why are you looking at a virago, is it because its cheap and available or because you like cruisers. Never buy something just because its available now, My old man used to say "the deal of a lifetime comes around every 3 weeks". There will always be a better deal and a nicer bike if your prepared to look.
yeah i would really like a triumph america once im done on my re's, so i thought "hey why not get a 250 cruiser until i can buy my triumph?". This SEEMS like a reasonable kinda thing, until all my sportsbike riding friends chimed in... Soooooo PSB forums will make my life decisions for me!!
i think i will embrace my perhaps bike-homosexuality, and purchase an eliminator...
oh and if you guys ever see me riding around, please do not laugh, as that will cut me deep...

ooh look a ninja !

Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground...
the rider of a virago looks less gay, than a male pillion...

The virago is slightly smaller than the intruder, which is why the ladies usually buy them, but the virago is a really easy bike to ride. It takes bigger 'nads to ride what you want, not what someone else tells you to ride,be your own man!
virago is also a very light bike, so along with being low to the ground it's very easy to handle while learning

i'll put it this way, my lesbian flat mate saw one in the shop as she was getting her 250 serviced and loved it, she would have brought one there on the spot if she could. i walked away at this point as i was ashamed to know her at that point. get what ever is cheap (but will run) then get rid of it a soon as possible, your hopefully not going to have it for long

Oh stop it boys and dont pick on didems
Yep --- gay as
So you getting tassels as well ???
REPENT MOTHER FUCKER
