    Drop protection

    Hi guys,
I've just bought myself a 2007 VTR250 today, I'm so excited about it.
Can anyone tell me where can I get the things that put in both sides so when drop to minimize the damage? What is the actual name for it? Can I have more than 1 for each side?
    Thanks!

Oggy knobs are your best bet, most dealers will supply and fit them
Our Father, Who art at Phillip Island, Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done
In the backroads as it is on the freeway
Give us this day our high-octane premium fuel
    And forgive us our lanesplitting
As we forgive the four wheel drives, the volvos and the taxis
And lead us not into gravel corners
But deliver us from hand-held radars
For thine is thy leather, thy denim, thy Gore-Tex and thy Kevlar

the parts they protect are usually a lot more expensive, for about the same price again (or about $50 from China) you can get handguards with an alloy frame that stop your handlebars and levers biting the road if you drop it, seems expensive until you have to buy new bars and levers etc and they can be taken off before sale if damaged leaving the stock bars in good condition
Do you remember the good old days before the internet?

when arguments were only entered into by the physically or intellectually able.

Exactly... $250 is pretty cheap insurance if you ask me.

Buying new, or fixing up some fairings, new clipons and levers are gonna cost you a stack more than that if you drop it hard enough.
