Hi,
Does anyone know the route for the riding test that they use in York WA?
A map would be great!
Thanks.

Why? If you're competent just go out and ride.
Thanks Rat750,
It is not for me!... It was info sought, to help a learner rider.
Knowing the route could be practised to make this learner rider more competent!

And what happens when they have to ride outside of that route? This is the point I was getting at. Tell your friend to get as much road time as possible in all different types of areas then it wont matter a fuck where they take them.

Get Falcore to take them out for a jaunthe'll show them some good roads, though a lot might be gravel

As Rat has said, concentrate more on riding less on the test, what happens if they learn the route down pat and they cahnge it?? One freaked out learner![]()
Hey, Rat750 (Wiseguy!)
This person is riding from Mandurah to York this weekend!
Thanks for your rudeness and lack of any help at all!

Not meaning to be rude or a wiseguy mate......jump off the defensive ship. My point is....what if your friend is told the supposed route and then on the day the instructor decides to go left instead of right? Is your friend going to be thrown into a spin because the route just changed? All I'm saying is that if you're a competent enough rider to pass a test then it shouldn't matter where they take you.
I'm with Rat750.
Also, think about this: If this person passes their test, they will be riding a machine that has a very small safety margin, by themselves, at high speeds. Do you really want them riding before they are ready?
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon! Press the brake foot as you roll around the corners, and save the collapse and tie up.
If memory serves me right can't be done in York anymore.
Has to be done in northam. I keep well away from the cops as I really don't want them to recognise any of my bikes lol

Thanks everyone,
I think this thread got sidetracked!.... I initially asked if anyone could please help with a "Map", which nobody could help with.... and instead I received a whole lot of opinions.

Opinions.....the internetz is full of them. Some good advice sometimes too if you're willing to take it.
They'll take you along some roads that'll have markings, you'll have to negotiate signs and traffic control signals.
On some of those roads your instructor will ask you to stop quickly or turn around, and for some other he will ask you to turn off one road onto another road.
There may be traffic lights, roundabouts and other vehicles on the road.
I'm with the others, if you are that incompetent that you need a map of where you are going, you shouldn't even be sitting your test, let alone hoping to pass.
You can do the test in York. I live in York and am booked in to do my test here!

Do you have an instructor? Where have they been taking you?
