fzx250 Zeal oil filter

Hey ppl,

does anyone know, maybe from having changed a zeal's oil filter before, which other
bike models use the same oil filter as the fzx250 zeal?

I was looking at a range of filters today, each box had a list of bikes the filter inside would fit, but none
listed the fzx250, i'm sure one of them will be a match - just the zeal is so rare is why it probably didnt get a mention. There was a filter for an fzx400..... maybe that'll do the trick? the staff couldnt help me out on this one...

Give your Yammy dealer a call and ask for a part number, and whether or not there's a generic replacement.

Kwakka genuine paper Kwakka oil filters (internal) are around $15. If the one for your Zeal is internal, it should be about the same. External ones cost a little more (wouldn't pay more than $30)

I am led to believe it is the same as the FZR250

also check at a 3rd arty bike shop..
maybe somewhere like one on one in malaga..
pal & panther in ossie park..
bayswater motorcycles in baywater (doh..!)
tyres for bikes in vic park..
bike & tyre city in ossie park..
and the list goes on and on and on

these are bike shop are places that will take the time to talk with you..

Hey.. it's the same as teh FZR250RR but there are two types...

If it's a spin on type i belive it's the HF303 same as almost every bike.. Yzf600R 91-95 Thundercat range.. fZR600RG fzr400's and i think even the ZX9 is the 303..

But if it's the one inside the oil pan. well teats also FZR250RR but the's a 3LN model engine can remember what filter.. but any bikeshop can sell you both...

if it is like the FZR then it will cost you $15 at the dealers so just get to a yammy dealer and no need to stuff around
