98% of all Harleys ever sold are still on the road. The other 2% made it home.

Got a VT250F Integra, and am thinking about wasting money on her also.
She was bought for $1500,m thinking about getting the engine swapped ($500 for a secondhand engine) as mine has lost a cylinder, but once complete, thinking about changing exhausts, and basically doing her up. Its stupid money to be spending, i know, but the bikes been fun to ride!

Spend that $1400 on Trakdayz, tyres, fuel, leathers, minor suspension tuning, and you'll be way faster than any wanky bits you may not need yet.

For that budget I could do a whole season and a nicely set up bike.

Your right Aufitt i agree, Learning is nu.1 i wish to do as much as i can ! , i have an RAC day tommor and look forward to doing as many training/ track days as i can.
The point of these small mods is not to improve speed but remove some flat spots and give better throttle response.

I lost 40% on the value of my 250 in under 12 months.

    That was a waste.

mmm there is a young fella on here that bought an LE Ninja and proceeded to put so much bling on it you couldn't see the bike!!

He tried to sell it blinged up for a few thou more than he bought it for, needless to say no one bought it and he had to then part it out.

Your money your call, you're young, you'll now doubt earn enough money to not have to worry about throwing it away, so meh do whatever you want with you're Ninja, it's still a Ninja

Please post up if it works, I'm not sure it's going to make any difference, but I guess as long as your mind thinks so, then that's all that matters

    HYOSUNG 250 Comet.

Lesson #1 - Comets don't sell as well as GT250Rz
Lesson #2 - Try and avoid buying 2 months before all 250's drop their prices by a grand
Lesson #3 - No matter how much research you do, you'll always miss something. (see lesson #1)

The Ninja will sell better than a Hyosung, but mine was 2nd hand to try an eliminate the loss - I failed.

$1400 that could have gone to your R class bike!

I lost 40% on the value of my 250 in under 12 months. That was a waste.
No...that was an investment in acquiring a new skill & new experiences.

simple fact: motor vehicles are a depreciable asset.

Still the reward for me is heaps of fun & enjoyment, seeing places I haven't seen before and befriending a
    good group of people.
