Try QBE beat every one else by $400 for me, even the bike shop qouldnt believe they covered my for the quote i got.
It's hard enough remembering my opinions, yet alone the reason why i have them.

    I am with QBE.
$315 for a year. They cover upto $4000 in gear.
I have only just recently got my licence.

Though it does change with age and experience (car inc). They also take into account your no claim history of any other company that you have been with.

Don't worry about insurance, it's too expensive.
Save the money and spend it on a turbo for your ZZR, lower it, and put a fat 190 on the rear.

Hmmmm, guess the statistical info for insurance doesn't look good for your
    age group???

$680 isnt to much considering the cost involved in repairing the VTR after a bingle.

Yeah RAC is shit for bikes. My missus works for them and even with our 50% off, Swann was still cheaper with better cover.

Comparing quotes is tough. There are so many variables, such as the model of the bike, year, your age, your driving and riding history, excess, exclusions and general other shenanigans that it seriously pays to shop around and READ the PDS. General rule of thumb the "popular" insurers for bikes tends to be Shannons, Swann and QBE. Do your research, get a quote from every insurer you can find, and compare the PDS's from your top 3 or 4 preferences. At the end of the day price isnt everything..
