So I just went and bought another bike, Its a Laro V-Retro 250. I could not find much info on the bike but basically its a Yamaha TW200 chinese rip-off.
Anyways it only cost me $2300 second hand with 600km on the clock. Its a street tracker/farm bike style. Looks cool but obviously cheaply made in the current chinese way.
I will keep this thread updated in to how ownership goes with pics etc.

Front needs a chunkier tyre like the TW200. I would like to have one of those someday.

TW200's seem too hard to get, but if I like this bike
I may try harder to hunt a good one down - ie import
one from Japan.

Update, I need to make the exhaust louder by either clearing out the stock muffler which looks good or getting an after market one.
Play in the throttle need to be fixed and it needs better mirrors.
Braking is excellent, had to pull up quick during a test ride today.
Ive de-badged it. Want to change the the white coloured mud flaps.
ps Its actually a Suzuki Van Van 125 rip off, which as a Japanese model isn't that crash hot so the 250cc offers better torque response than its 125 inspiration.
