Nice and hot today, thinks a few of us will be investing in those camel bags now. Thanks again Stoneville for organising us all and getting us newbies into line after the group initially got split up . Good fun ride as per usual.
Thanks to Nik as well for not pushing too hard in the corners and keeping me at a safe and comfortable pace.
Also (sounding like an Academy Award speech by now, bring on the Russell Crowe biffo ) cheers to Ev for looking out for me on our trip down Reid Hwy.

Just wanted to say thanks like everybody else
Today was my first group and country run, and it was hot , but also a most enjoyable day. If I stuffed up and don't know it, please let me know. I picked up that I changed my position in the lane a couple of times, and may have cut someone off accidentally.
Great to meet other riders, and newbies like me.
Will be attending again asap as there are a few things I'm still needing practice with and I usually ride solo.
Unfortunately didn't get the PM with Eleanors number in time.
Special thanks to Orson, who was most welcoming and lent me a jacket. I will be chasing mine now with renewed enthusiasm.

from where i was sitting (about three or four back) i thought Jackie was riding well too. good job to everyone involved in both the organisation and on the day.
it was my first shot a O'brians and it was thouroughly enjoyable, but special thanks to stoney who looked after the newbies, learners and those who just didn't know the road (but have heard of its infamy!). it was good to go along without any pressure and just enjoy ourselves, so thanks again.
oh, and de-evolve, i was behind you when the kwaka revved her guts out and coughed some foul black smoke all over me. thanks for that!! (hope she's ok though)
stinking hot, but a great day out for my first country bash. i know when i got home i was straight in the pool with a beer to wash off the sweat and heat! lovely...

Great ride. Loved O'Briens. The 6 didn't like the hot weather. Really didn't like it.
Can't wait for the next one Stoney.

Big shout out "THANKS" to Sandra for an enjoyable ride. Appologies to teenie for the lack of pace through o'briens, new road to me and I thought we lost a 250, but hopefully all was forgiven after the next set of twisties. An infection in the lower back has now made me bedridden so will be looking forward to the next time I can join youse all. ta

Got mine and ellE's from a girls group buy for around $20, though they are only a "knock off" (copy) of the real ones.
Expect to pay $40-130 depending on the type you want.
Most of the bigger bike shops are stocking them now i.e. Total Motorcycle Ass. in Vic Park, Camping/hiking shops or you can go here (look on the left of page under March Specials) or even eBay
