I had fun as always
It was good to see so many riders out in weather that others wouldn't even take their bike out in.
I think that everyone did a good job to stay up right tonight. With all the wind and rain.
So how many are going to the bike shop on Wednesday for wet weather gear ? and yes Sena I do feel bad not not bring along my spare set for you but you get that sometimes
See you all next time

heh guys thanks for staying upright
had this thought on the way home and looks like #5 is in the making might do part of it on Tuesday night after Borat
So don't forget next weeks ride is - meet at Gull, Burswood, watch Borat at the Luna, then ride.
If you don't have tickets and want to come then let me know, you can DD pay me and get your ticket on Tuesday.
If you really don't want to see Borat, but want to come for a ride then we should be leaving Luna around 8.30pm PM me for my mob number if you want to check times.
Learners - just a thought, if you have a spare $15 you could pay for your shadow's Borat ticket

Excellent ride as always Stoney!
I thought it would be okay and brought NO WE GEAR so ended up trying to warm my hands on the engine and wearing soaking Draggins and Dririders is also lots of fun
And i think whoever the Learner is that forgot gloves, go get some gloves! Otherwise you'll end up with no fingers the next cold wet rainy ride
Thankyou Stoney once again!

Haha, that learner was me and surprisingly my hands where ok. To be honest didn't really feel the cold, just the wet if that makes any sense haha. But yes looking to invest in some gloves and dragins<<-- i think thats what they called.

another fun ride, cheers stoney.
even with the wet there were no incidents. i actually started to dry out on the way home, by the time i got to Armadale Rd on the Tonkin my jeans and gloves had definately gotten a blowdry. as i got closer to the hills near home however i got absolutely blasted by rain, i could see it coming and knew i was gonna get drenched. made the warm house feel much cosier when i got home though.
And tweeklz, get as much wet weather practice in as you can this week, even if it is just some emergency braking outside your house. when you go for your test next week and its dry (while you've been practicing in the wet) you will ace the braking and O-turns no problem.
i found the same thing for my test. did all the practice in the wet, when i finally went for the test i got the only sunny morning that week. piece of cake.
oh, and munches is right, get some proper gloves, you look like a spanner with those bloody latex things on!!

that was all that was available to him .
You might want to re-think what you say to noobs ok even in jest things like gloves might be on thier list of "to get" things not everyone has the finances to go get everything at once at least he had a jacket and helmet and didnt ride like a squid.
When someone is a noob and they are unsure of what hear to get or dont have the correct gear some advice is wonderful as to what they need

certainly no offence intended, just poking a little harmless fun.
i think we all know how hard it is when you are first starting out and need to get some good gear, but are unsure of what to get first if you can't afford everything. i myself faced the same problem, starting with the helmet (of course) before getting a proper jacket and gloves when finances permitted. heck, i wore ski gloves for most of winter just to keep out the cold/wet, before i could afford riding gloves.
anyhow, i thought tweeklz took my comment in the good humour that it was intended, if not, i apologise.

Sorry about that mate - i just figured if it was me riding in the cold rain and wind i would rather have some sort of protection for my fingers than not - even if all it was doing was keeping them slightly warmer it would be safer than having them cramp and not bring able to brake properly.
See you on the next run!
