Rain was there rain I guess you could call it spitting
96 clicks all up, Alfreds wasn't too bad with less of us
Big ups to all that came, especially t-bone who doesn't like riding slow in the wet To all you other soft Pansies
Did get slightly wet when I left going home on the Roe, then rained again up in Glen Forrest, worst was the 10m fog, got home safe and sound.
Of course Andy said we were mad, wouldn't believe that it wasn't raining down the hill, cos it rained no stop all day in the hills.
Thursday next week, Ladies ride Tuesday

Thanks for the ride everyone! It was good fun - the wetness just makes things even more interesting, even had the front slide around a roundabout at one stage, wasn't a dramatic breaking of traction but an interesting sensation when it happens smoothly! Worst part about the rain is not being able to see as T-bone mentioned, visor down you get blinded by oncoming h/l, visor up rain and other crap in your eyes. Must get wiper blade gloves... Special thanks to Hlucin8 for saving me from the old chap chewing my ear off at Alfreds

Gee thanks, chewing on broken glass seems more appealing! He seemed like a nice enough fella but man, I didn't need to hear the same point slurred eleventy-billion times!

hahaha at least he didn't ask you to take him for a ride.
Although a little we it was a great ride. just made it on petrol, i switched to reserve near the airport. But i'm surprised it lasted that long... i'm getting much better ecconomy with the pipes and filter on there now. got an extra 50km before i had to switch than usual.
Thanks Stoney

He DID
Nah J/K
How's this for strange, since I went +4 teeth on the back sprocket my fuel economy has actually improved... I thought it would've been the other way around! I'm guessing it's something to do with changing riding habits though...
