This could be the wrong section or an inappropriate question, but im new so please correct me if im wrong in posting here.

I'm just wondering if after i've passed my riding test at the licensing center that I have to do the 6 months waiting period before my R-E provisional license.

Im currently 17 and 9 months old, ive had my motobike L's since 16 and a half, and had my Car P plates for a few months now.

So im just wondering if i have to put up with this rediculous 6 month waiting period or not.

If you already have a car license then no, you don't need to go through the bullshit 6months waiting period/log book/wat eva they call it these days. That log book/6months of learners is there to get your road experience up and if you already have a car or any other license then its assumed that you have had road experience. Also for P plates you need to have them for the first 24 months of being on the road no matter which vehicle your operating. So that means you will have P plates on your bike and when you get off your P's you pull them off the car and bike.
