    Take it or leave it, I personally found the whole thread worthwhile, despite the occasional (and inevitable) contradictory and repetitive posts.

    There are plenty of good posts on PSB from experienced riders, but it takes a bit of work to fiter out the gold (learner threads seem to start off well but then tumble headlong into the Sar-Chasm). Hopefully no-one minds me directing people to another forum. If so, sorry, and nuke away.
