you either have water in your fuel or old fuel i suggest you empty out your tank and also drain your carbies while you are at it hope that helps

Could also be the battery is marginal (and just not giving enough spark).
A mates GPX wouldn't start (it would definitely crank over though), but we hooked it up with jumper leads to my cage and it fired first go.
If you haven't ridden it for a while and don't keep it outside in the rain, i'd try jumping it with some jumper leads...

ive seen that happen before as well. bike seems to crank over fine but wont fire, soon as you jump it off a car battery it starts fine.

Dead battery - jump start or get a new one...
chances are if you have tried starting it a fair bit then the plugs are fouled too...

Check the spark plugs again they may be fouled so they look clean but they really dont work they are sneaky little buggers

Similar thing happened to my GPX shortly after I bought it from a guy who had it for 6 months and never rode it.
Best thing you can do: change EVERYTHING to give it the best possible chance of starting.
For me, this meant:
New plugs
Drain carbies
Charge battery
Fresh fuel (fortunately my housemate also had a GPX at the time, so wasnt too hard)
Every time you try to start and it doesnt start, its making it less likely to start on the next try - plugs get further fouled, bike floods, all fun stuff.
