These guys are good - why just the other day I saw one of their instructors giving a lesson near Willagee... he was wearing dress shorts, shoes and short sleeved business shirt.

Way to set an example fella.

Thumbs up for Ozzy & Glenn @ Alert.

As a sensitive chicky, prone to frustration when I don't get things perfect first time, I found these two to be the most patient and relaxed of their instructors and would recommend them (but that's just my 2c - and everybody likes different styles of teaching).

*Never realised there were sooooo many options to choose from!* DEF SHOULD BE STICKY!! (EDIT: HEHEHE fast workers them MODS...ask & u receive....sometimes

++ for Alert.

I've also sent a few their way after getting my RE with them and heard nothing but praise.

That would have been Andrew, I saw him too.
He usually only does the HR lessons but he must have had to do an emergency bike test or something and didn't have his proper riding kit.

I got my R-E and R through Andrews and Lester (the actual bike instructor) is pretty good. Always in full riding gear; leathers, boots, gloves.

I'm studying a Graduate Diploma in Education this year so that I can be a high school science teacher next year (I heard teachers' salaries are being increased! ).

I haven't stopped teaching altogether but have had to seriously cut back my hours to fit in uni. Next year, however, I will probably close down Advantage Motorcycle Rider Training after 14 years of instructing.

It is time for a change as far as my day job is concerned. I enjoyed and still enjoy motorcycle teaching but the sun, wind, rain, smog and traffic noise wear a bit thin over time. I will keep running my other business Bayswater Martial Arts and Yoga Centre which is mainly an evening job (and hobby!)

spock sounds like you're a sucker for pain. Then again I'm sure instructing isn't really a walk in the park either. I'm suprised though that a high school science teacher may earn more than an owner/instructor. Or do they?

With motorcycle training, how much you earn depends on the hours you work. The fact is, it is physically demanding to do as many paid hours instructing riders, as most people would do in their 'proper' jobs every day.

Thus a high school science teacher would probably earn more than a motorcycle instructor. (At least that's what I'm hoping!) Also, Banks will take you more seriously when it comes to loans etc. when you have a 'proper' job.

In any event I felt it was time for a change and needed a job that finished early so I can still run classes at my other business Bayswater Martial Arts and Yoga Centre. It wasn't ever really about the money.

Also, until he gets added to the first post if you're in the Gosnells area, you might like to consider Sikpupy as your riding instructor

Astro Driver Training has ceased to offer motorcycle training...
Does anyone know of anyone who would offer 250 motorcycle training in Kal? Anyone in Kal, even someone with 4 years of experience, I would pay for lessons.
