Haha the first time I got on a bike I rode down my street.... the second time I got on a bike I rode to toodyay and back... the third time I got on my bike was a LNR with you guys haha... I need lessons tho... I may be able to ride the bike but that dont mean I can pass the test.
Ride ride ride.
Hey Kirtsy..
Finding the right instructor for YOU is just as important as finding a recommended instructor.
I have had many instructors and I can say that they are ALL professional, passionate people who care a great deal about getting YOU on the road safely.
The teaching style of each instructor will be different to every other instructor you will encounter and to some a "patronising" attitude is discerned whereas to others it may be totally ignored and only the lesson is noticed. As I and others have said ...' learning to ride is a very individual process and takes as long as it takes'.
Don't be afraid to test and try instructors or schools 'til you find one that works for you....."when the student is ready, the teacher will appear"
Good luck, you'll blitz it!

Hai!! Ninja Gatto!!Was never here......

It seems someone got the date wrong... me or them I dont know... no lessons for me this week... How many lessons do people normally need in order to pass coz it seems that I will only get the one or maybe two now... so wondering if I should reschedule my test...
Ride ride ride.
No crime in rescheduling.

From R-E permit to practical test - time/lessons required?
A few lesson/riding tips for new riders!
Advice for those trying to pass R-E Test
had my first lesson thursday night with lenny (nor-joondalup area) and hes fantastic, very patient, knows how to explain things, just really good overall. turns out i know his wife through work too haha small world.
Definitely recommend anyone to Alert......All the guys there were great (had 3 different instructors but all were on the same page). Sent a mate there and he had the same great service!!!
I'm going for my instructors ticket next month so that I can teach R-E's...
I dont have a second bike for the moment, so will probably seek some work through a school..
Tho, that being said - anyone i tell i am going to be an instructor / am doing my testing - even non riders have said " awesome gimme your number, I wanna learn ".. seems like people are keen - but just need a nudge..
Hope to be based SOR..
Come and see us in the 2011 Avon Descent - we're racing boat #234 !
Good move.
I'd definitely recommend Lenny from MTWA.
Great guy, awesome personality and he knew different ways to explain skills to me so that if I didn't understand it the first time, I usually got it the second time.
Took me from knowing absolutely nothing to getting my licence in about 10hrs of lessons.
Just wanted to say how great Elite Motorcycle Training are! I know they've already got a great rep but just adding to it! After taking a break for a while whilst I went overseas, I came back and got back into riding and getting my R-E and they were extremely patient and very supportive. Would highly recommend them!
