Paid $6990 for mine... they all pay more over East from what I've seen - US get the best deals though! Was tempted to import one as after all the work required it might've worked out cheaper and could've got a green one

if they're in short supply, you will not get a discount unless you give the boss a gobby. Best bet is see if anyone has any in stock ready to go, if not then go to your local dealer and buy it.... either that or buy something else..

I bought one 2 weeks ago from Kim Britton for $6999 on road. He knew I wanted it and there’s not many around so Bargaining power was not on my side. He was cheeky as anything though, only offered 10% off accessories and gave me the bike with no fuel in it. Cool bike though, im stoked with it

mine 7 k the guys quoted 6990 but for sum reason he put 7k n i didnt read it i jst signed it..... they can be dicks abt it cause in high demand, being dicks i didnt buy anything there i went nxt door and they gav me discount on helmet and a free tinited visor.

there is next to no profit in motorcycles. get over it. Is a couple of hundred dollars going to make your life more enriched and enjoyable? If you want one buy it. Take it from me, your better off getting along with the people you deal with, rather than get their backs up by asking for a discount on a 7 grand bike that is in short supply. If they have fuck loads of them they cant shift then im sure it would be a different story. Its gonna be far easier to get a bit off the stuff you buy with it e.g Helmet, jackets etc etc. Save "Discount" discussions for when you buy a bike over 15k or so, then you might be looking at a grand or so off.... if your extremely lucky or follow kwaka's advice. /rant.

Edit: in saying this I personally didnt have a great experience buying from Kim Britton with my 1st bike but meh.... ive moved on.

yeah, vic park had their demand booked up to august delivery.. he showed me 22 names in his diary, that was last week...

he basically said I'd be lucky, as some dealers added a premium to jump the waiting list..

I am awaiting finance on a VTR and couldn't argue the price much... again, they are in low supply now too.. but got heaps off on new gear

Picked my ninja 250 up about a month ago from Kim Brittons in Rockingham. Rang Causeway and Mack 1 and they both told me about July - August at best. Rang Kim Brittons and they have one in stock. Picked it up the next!! Paid $7000 ride away

I also rang causeway yesterday they told me 8 weeks is the wait, longer if you wanted a black 1!! rang kim britton's had a few coming in this week, put a deposit down pick it up mid next week!! $6990 ride away. Can't wait.
