ninja (250) R exhaust? gps/mp3?
k i just got me R-E class license maybe a month or 2 ago and im startin to really miss the music in my car. Does anyone know any good gps/mp3 players and recommended bluetooth headsets that is good/safe for riding? so far the best ive found is the garmin zumo 550 and if anyone has one whats your review of it? i could really do with some feedback as this setup comes with a $1150 price tag....
Also my ninja 250r needs an exhaust? i love the sound of the two brothers but i hear there's no improvement in power? does anyone have any reviews of their ninja 250R and custom pipe whether it be about the sound or noticeable performance?
any help would be muchly appreciated, and if ya see me around on me green ninja with a CANEFIRE bumper sticker hahaha... say gday
cheers,
scotty

get an ipod shuffle for the mp3 player, i saw 5 riders (inc myself) with the ipod shuffle on the last LNR cruise, just make sure you buy in-ear headphones. $65 (shuffle) + $40 (headphones) = $105 compared to 1150

Roo Racing Pipe Sounds mental (heaps meatier than the Two Bros), more responsive throughout but it's given it a really good top end compared to the stocker so my bike kinda lives > 9k rpm most of the time (although I'm pretty sure that's the norm for 2-fiddies!). I got a dyno chart around here somewhere... I'll have to scan it at work tomoz. Sounds less stressed at higher speeds too (that probably goes for all the A/M pipes though). At the end of the day it means f'all on a 2-fiddy but it's nice to have that little bit extra for usability's sake, go the gearing change if you want it to feel different and are happy with the sound (mine's got a 47 tooth sprocket on the back, +4 from stock).
Best mod? The mighty PSB stickers!! Guaranteed an extra 10hp

As for tunes well it's pretty obvious a pimped out Ninja 250R needs a stereo unit built in under the rear seat cowl and you can replace that ridiculously inaccurate fuel gauge and abysmally tiny tacho with a couple of speakers, voilah!

Sony ericsson walkman mobile is awesome, i have about 250 songs on mine and bought some $80 in ear phones= music in yer ears . But if ya want to spend the $ the tom tom (bike model) is the way to go, not cheap but. And for exhaust i personally dont think it makes fuck all diff on a 250, but i put on a Screaming Demon pipe sounds heaps better thats about it! if you want performance go buy an R1

Just curious if theres any legalities to Music/MP3's and riding?!...
Im just thinkn that maybe if your pulled up and got ur ears listenin into music the cops might think its irresponsible seing as you wouldnt be able to hear a horn or cars or what not...
Anyone have suggestions?!...

I went the Yoshi slip with the Factory Pro jets and i'm still doing the same 'more or less' in the fuel stakes. I tried mine with the silencer which just made it sound like stock, only louder. I wanted louder again so i took it off Much more balanced acceleration from bottom to top and better midrange torque. Lovely job by K-Tec

TomTom Rider doesn't do MP3 play back as far as I know. I have a 2nd Edition, and if it can play MP3s, let me know how.
