Passed R-E Test
Yeah, got my license today in some lovely weather!! Sat the test in Midland - later on I'll try and make a map of the test course (apparently there are only two courses they run in Midland).
But yes, am very relieved now. Lost one point for not head checking when merging, although I swear I did, but am not too fussed about that!!
Big thanks to Alert Motorcycle school who I trained with - they got me up to speed in remarkable time considering I'd never ridden to start with!!
Now I need to get myself a bike and go on some rides!!

Well, for those familiar with the area, I started out on Cale Street, then took a left onto Great Eastern Highway, went past the Lloyd Street (MacDonalds on the corner) intersection and took the first left (at the Hungry Jacks). Did my figure O's half way up that street (Loton Avenue), then via Hooley Road got onto Cope St where I did the emergency braking. From there onto Morrison Road and back onto Lloyd Street where I headed up to Toodyay Road and took a left at the lights. I pulled off at the first left (Hodges St) for no apparent reason other than for him to make me do another U-turn. Then back out onto Toodyay Road and south on Great Northern Highway. Took a right onto Charles St and a left onto Frederic where I did a hill start. Then back to the licensing centre.
The assessor's name was Peter.
And yeah, awesome feeling knowing that its out of the way - really enjoyed the ride back!!

Here's the map - not as neatly done as I would have liked, but hopefully it is of some use to others preparing for their practicals in Midland. The Green circle represents where I did the O turns, the Blue line represents where I did my emergency braking and the pink circle represents where I did a hill start. The test started by heading East on Great Eastern Highway!

Well done! I was so stressed when I went for mine, I tried to take the test guy out by stalling it in front of him and he thought I was moving, needless to say he swerved and missed....hehehe but I still past, oh I do stupid things on test days but somehow they always seem to pass me. My HR license wasn't any better, at least I didn't hit anything!

Congrats
Obviously the Midland routes have changed a bit, I always thought the prime O-turn / E-stop locations were Railway Ave in Middle Swan and Wilkins St in Bellevue.
Hill start, what's that?
